However, if you are interested in industry credentials, you can attain a CBAP® or CCBA® Masters Certificate or Associate Certificate in Business Analysis through IIBA®. You will need 7,500 hours of Business Analysis experience and 21 hours of professional development training. Furthermore, to obtain a certification of competency in Business Analysis, (CCBA®) you will need 3750 hours of Business Analysis experience and 21 hours of professional development training for business analysis certification.
In addition, you will be required to complete an application process along with a three and a half hour multiple choice exam with 150 questions for business analysis certification. This route is suitable for experienced business analysts wanting to practice their experience and competence in the business analysis industry.
However, if you have already obtained an Associate Certificate, you can transfer that into a Master’s Certificate by taking the remaining courses. In addition, the program contains five core courses, and one elective to help improve your skills for business analysis certification.
